Our Classic Freehub Grease is specifically designed for all freehubs that require a lightweight grease. These style hubs we like to call the more mechanical hubs. Unlike the simpler, fewer parts of the Pawl style hubs. Dumonde Tech Freehub Grease performs in a broad temperature range from the heat of summer to the frigid temperatures of the north. "Pour Point" of Freehub Grease is -30 degrees. An oil change should be annually carried out or at least every 5000km. Through this process, it can be safe to say that there will always be enough oil in the hub regardless of oil loss (due to sweat oil) and that any penetrated water will be rinsed out. For a problem-free oil change, we recommend the use of the Rohloff Oil Change Kit. - Cleaning oil to be used prior to changing all-weather oil on Rohloff Speedhubs - Oil change kit (RH-8410) includes: nipple-to-hub interface, filler tube, injection syringe, cleaning oil, and all-weather oil (25ml ea) - RH8404 is lubricating and cleaning oil only
