So, we've done the same here and mimicked our longer travel geometry to create a bike with a 65.5-degree head-angle, generous front center, and short-offset fork, something rarely seen on a bike of this ilk. And, the radical thinking doesn't stop there. The Tallboy's short-short 430mm chainstays have +/- 10mm of rear axle adjustment to ensure riders of all sizes and styles feel equally at home. For the new Stumpjumper EVO design, we prioritized kinematic performance. Applying lessons learned while developing the Enduro, then following that with more than 1,000 hours of field and suspension lab development, we've not only improved the pedaling performance of the Stumpjumper, but we've made it more capable, agile, and lively. We increased anti-squat, so the suspension better resists pedal bob, and we further improved bump performance on square-edge hits. Bottom line? Cassidy is the natural evolution of our Split Pivot lineup. The aluminum frame is engineered for hard-charging on huge terrain, and its progressive geometry with 165mm of rear travel and a 180mm RockShox ZEB fork takes the edge off of burly rock gardens, daunting drops, and steep and sketchy trails. The Split Pivot suspension system adds pedaling efficiency and offers smooth, consistent braking throughout the travel for maximum traction. Shimano's SLX components round out the package for precise shifting, while four-piston brakes bail you out of any situation. The geometry of the Advanced composite frame and swingarm was developed specifically around 29-inch wheels. That means shorter chainstays, a longer toptube, and just the right angles with the headtube (64.56 degrees) and seattube (76.36 degrees). We gave it an updated Maestro rear suspension system with 146mm of travel. The trunnion mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm deliver an active, super plush feel on the trail.
